Lido re-opening

The local Lido has re-opened for the spring/ summer season with some improvements! Claire Jarvis tells us;

‘We’ve undertaken various jobs over the winter which further improve our accessibility for disabled or mobility impaired visitors. We’ve repainted our car park and now have a clearly marked out disabled parking space with plenty of room at the side and rear. We have a unisex disabled changing room on the poolside with level access all the way from the car park as well as large cubicles for changing in both the men’s and women’s changing rooms. In addition, we have both shallow steps and our new hoist for those who need assistance in entering and exiting the water. Admission is free for carers accompanying disabled visitors.’
